Of course, as noted in the description of the video, that doesn't go for the ITX board as it simply doesn't have a chipset gen4 x16 slot (which might explain why it doesn't seem bothered to spin up much). Test with the highest power AIB gpus which let hot air into the case and also potentially block the fan opening. Also, I'm not a fan of ARM because it's also patented, although the patents are at least licensed under FRAND terms; I would've liked an open design like RISC V ideally, but I know that's even less likely. Anyway i don't mind the fan at all, i'm more concerned about the temperature. That and the fact that they seem to care about community outreach. Because of that the CPU can be even more efficient than a pure RISC CPU. [–]xMEECH08x 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child), [–]nwash57 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children). Pcie 4.0 1st slot gpu lanes go straight to the CPU. So when the chipset fan has, on average, a ~20 dB higher sound level between it and a good case fan, we are talking 4x the perceived loudness. The default balanced profile was tested, I believe. I would love to see like an experiment showing how hard would it be for an end user to change the fan on their own if it breaks down, but that requires a lot of tinkering. Without audio or video of the actual fan noise, this video doesnt help me at all. In case you were concerned, I am no longer. The board with the best passive cooling (all else being equal) would have the best chance of having the fan spin for as little as possible - at least I would assume so. use the following search parameters to narrow your results: Join the Radeon Vanguard program (Beta Testing). With upgraded power delivery and comprehensive cooling options to fuel AMD's latest CPUs, plus support for faster memory and storage, TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) is the perfect foundation for your next high-core-count AMD battle rig.
